It Was Never Between You and Them Anyway

Selalu kan kita dengar,

"Aku buat apa pun orang tak suka, buat baik ke jahat ke, ada je orang tak suka. Baik aku jadi diri sendiri je," lalu meneruskan perbuatan tidak baiknya.

Untuk aku, tidaklah kerana aku berbuat baik, tapi kadang kadang aku tak buat apa apa pun tetap ada orang tak suka. Sifat orang yang membenci orang lain tanpa sebab ini, memang susah juga aku nak faham. Lainlah kalau apa yang orang itu buat memberi kesan pada diri kita. Contohnya kita benci dia sebab dia telah melakukan sesuatu yang mengakibatkan kita dibuang kerja, contoh. Itu pun kita tidak digalakkan membenci, paling bagus kita maafkan saja and be a bigger person, tapi paling bijak kita ignore je orang macam itu sepanjang hidup kita. Sebab itu yang aku selalu lakukan. Ignore bertahun tahun tak ambil tahu tak stalk tak balas tak sebut pasal orang itu tak apa apa. Tahu tahu aku dah move on pun yang bila jumpa lagi di kemudian hari aku dah tak rasa apa apa. Kiranya aku dah maafkanlah tu. 

'Weak people seek revenge, strong people will forgive, intelligent people will ignore'.

Kadang kadang kecewa juga, kita dah buat baik, tapi tetap tidak disukai. The dark side of me akan assume yang orang itu cemburu saja. What else? I believed that the only reason people can hate someone they don't even know, or someone who doesn't do any harm to them, is just a plain jealousy! Nothing else. Haters are a just confused admirers, be denial all you want but that can be a very valid reason. Don't la hate people, kebencian ini memenatkan, destroy your inner peace, consume a lot of energy.. is it worth it?

I found this quote (or maybe it's poem?) on the internet which I think very meaningful, soothing and encouraging;

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

         In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
