Art Attack

Growing up, I'm not at all an artsy person. I hate, like really really hate Pendidikan Seni during school time, daripada sekolah rendah bawa ke sekolah menengah. Aku tak berseni langsung, art is not my forte, tangan aku keras, aku tak kreatif.... Banyaknya justification, nampak kan betapa tak sukanya aku pada benda benda seni ni.

Jadi untuk mengajar anak anak aku tentang seni ni, memang bukan akulah. Setakat lukis elephant, cat, Doraemon tu, bolehlah. Cincai cincai je, tapi itupun sudah kira hebat di mata anak anak aku HAHA. Aku tak tahulah anak anak aku ni minat seni atau tidak, sebab tak pernah cuba expose kan lagi mereka dengan benda benda seni ni.

So last Monday, I went to DIY store, looking for a toiletries rack. Masuk DIY ni, you know lah, macam masuk DAISO juga, we always end up buying things we never planned to buy. #ambitiousparent

My children were ecstatic! It was something new for them kan. It was actually a picture of crab, ada sample gambar sekali untuk kita tiru warnanya.

Ammar Yusuf, sangat tertib mewarna, slowly and steady.

Adam Muaz, on the other hand. Well..... he's 2. Please forgive him :')

Masa nak mula main benda ni tu, we were just realized that we didn't have any newspaper left in the house, so we end up using alas pinggan huhu. Tak apa, lagi senang, boleh lap je nanti.

Ammar Yusuf betul betul cuba mewarna based on the picture. He's really enjoying it, "Macam Upin Ipin cat bendera Malaysia", dia kata.

This boy.... couldn't care less. Takut tengok dia coret coret canvas tu, tengok gaya genggam berus pun dah tahu betapa kuatnya dia tekan berus tu, sampai kembang bulu berus tu tahu tak T____T

After a while, he got bored already. "Nak main Ninja lah". Terus tinggal kerja mewarna ni. Nevermind, I totally understand you baby. Perhaps art is not his thang.

Dah siap semuanya, I decided to hang in their bedroom's wall. Just put a double sided tape behind the canvas, and it's all set to go. Tengok dua hasil kerja ni pun dah boleh nampak betapa berbezanya personaliti mereka kan? Every child is unique and special in their own way :)

Looking so proud, this fella. First time hasil kerja diabadikan sedemikian HAHA kesian. He was really into it, keep on reminding me to buy more of this. Seronok pula Mummy tengok.

Sendunya hiasan bilik. Dari dulu plan nak cat dinding bilik ini, tak terbuat lagi. Tak ada masa... Perhaps I should buy more of this printed canvas set and keep both of them occupied, well, at least it's better than watching Baymax like 48 times a day -____-. Will do that later, inshaaAllah.
