Saya dan Mereka

ada yang kata kita perlu jadi diri sendiri.
ada yang kata kita perlu ikut suasana.
ada yang kata better follow the crowds.

"if u can not beat them, join them".
i've heard this phrase quite a time.

from my guy.
even from my boss.

but what if the act of 'them' is really unacceptable?

how on earth we could know that they're unbeatable in the first place?
we never even try.

i pernah baca somewhere, if kita tengok sesuatu yang tak baik berlaku depan mata, kita perlu tegah.
kalau kita tak mampu nak tegah dengan tangan, tegah la dengan mulut.
kalau tu pun kita tak mampu, sekurang-kurangnya kita perlu ada rasa benci pada perbuatan itu.
itu dah cukup baik.
or the original sentence is, "itulah iman yg selemah-lemahnya"
apa pun, ia masih dikira ada iman.

so, is the above phrase still applicable?
listen. if i can not beat them, i wont join them either.back off perhaps?
berundur tak bermakna kalah.
i cant be the one who play safe all the time.
dirty politics.
if someone has done something u clearly dislike it, why do u have to act like u're fine with it?
u're afraid because for u they're unbeatable? (stupid)
u dont want to attract problems? (could be considerable)
well, i'm not saying that the one who choose to play safe is a bad person.
sometimes i play safe too.
for the sake of keeping my day in track, and also because for me there's no use entertaining those with damaged brain, full of negativity, childishness and anger.

its never wrong being ambitious.
but there's a thick line between being ambitious and being greedy.
people can always tell.
i'm very ambitious too.
as any other human being (as a woman to be specific), i also have a dream.
to be successful.
to be rich.
but i try not to let the dreams cloud my judgement on what i already have now.
"Be grateful for what u have, u'll end up having more."~Oprah Winfrey
"If u wish to have something, u have to act like u already have it."~Robert T. Kiyosaki
when they enthusiastly said, "bestnya jadi orang kaya"
i usually respond, "i'm not rich, but i'm happy and i feel complete already"
they backfire,"kau tak boleh macam ni una, kita kena ada impian. kita tak blh senang sangat berpuas hati. kita kena ada matlamat bla bla bla.."
ok stop.
itu la yg saya maksudkan, u just have to learn to distinguish between being ambitious and being greedy.
greediness cost u.
greedy=ungrateful.
u wont happy that way, trust me.

back to the first point.
saya suka jadi diri sendiri.
boyfriend saya cakap, saya lurus sangat. senang kena buli.
Mama cakap, saya mudah sangat memberi. habis duit je.
prinsip sy mudah, what u give u get back.
applicable in most situation.
sy tak kaya pun.
gaji saya tak besar mana pun.
tapi saya happy.
happy tak bermakna saya dah berpuas hati dan taknak berusaha untuk memajukan diri.
tapi saya lebih mengagungkan hidup yang bahagia.
family yang penuh gelak tawa and love each other.
hati yang tenang.

apa gunanya hidup kaya raya, tapi hati serabut, harta rasa macam tak pernah cukup, hati tak pernah bersyukur, family pecah belah cerai berai, geng nak berborak pun takde, hidup sunyi tunggu mati..

boleh je nak kaya and bahagia, tapi niat and mindset perlu betul la.
kekayaan and kebahagiaan jalan seiring.
bahagia dunia akhirat.
how lucky...
